DNS response hijacking via default registrable suffix

DNS search-path injection in D-Link DSL 2730-U IN_1.10 and IN_1.11 and DIR-600M 3.04 allows remote attackers to redirect failed lookups. The routers' DHCP service supplies the registrable domain.name suffix by default, causing clients to append it after an NXDOMAIN response. An attacker who registers a matching third-level subdomain can return valid DNS answers and direct affected clients to attacker-controlled Internet services.
