Service interruption via oversized container declarations

Resource exhaustion in Apache Thrift 0.9.3 through 0.13.0 allows remote attackers to exhaust RPC service memory with a short message. Affected protocol readers accept a declared container size larger than the remaining payload and allocate memory for that declared size before rejecting the truncated input. Exposure requires an application using an affected Thrift runtime to accept untrusted RPC traffic; memory exhaustion interrupts that service without reported data disclosure or modification.
