Stored XSS via unsanitized event-team delimiter
Published Jun 9, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in ThemeBoy SportsPress before 2.7.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through the event-team delimiter. Event settings store the sportspress_event_teams_delimiter option without sanitizing its value, which is later rendered in site content. An authenticated account able to change SportsPress settings is required, and visitors who load affected output execute the stored script in the site's origin.
