Service interruption via late window-function tree rewrite
Published Jun 6, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Use-after-free in resetAccumulator in SQLite 3.32.2 allows remote attackers to interrupt applications with malicious SQL. The resetAccumulator routine accesses freed parse-tree memory because the window-function parse-tree rewrite executes too late. Exploitation requires an application to accept and execute attacker-controlled SQL; the documented impact is limited to availability.
