CVE-2020-13851Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via Events target injection

Published Jun 11, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

OS command injection in Ártica ST Pandora FMS 7.0 NG 742 through 744 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via the Events feature. The ajax.php event-response handler passes the attacker-controlled target POST parameter to an operating-system command without neutralizing shell syntax. Any non-administrative console account can trigger execution as apache on the Pandora FMS server, enabling data access or modification and service interruption.
