Use-after-free in Foxit Reader and PhantomPDF before 9.7.1 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted PDF document. The PDF-processing path uses an uninitialized pointer without validating that the document supplies the expected dictionary. The document must be processed by an affected Windows desktop application; exploitation permits code execution in the application context or a crash.
