Cross-site scripting in Joomla! 3.0.0 through 3.9.18 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim browser via module heading tags. The Articles - Newsflash and Articles - Categories modules accept heading-tag option input without validation, allowing attacker-controlled markup to reach generated pages. A victim must load the affected page for script execution; the documented impact is browser-side confidentiality and integrity loss without service interruption.
