Root command execution via undisclosed interface injection
Published Dec 20, 2024 · Updated Dec 26, 2024
Command injection in Sierra Wireless MGOS allows local authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands as root through its user interface. Sierra Wireless has not published the affected interface field, handler, or missing neutralization operation. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and can fully control an oMG2000 on MGOS 3.15.1 and earlier or an MG90 on MGOS 4.2.1 and earlier.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
