Field-data disclosure via incomplete QuickEdit authorization
Published Feb 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Access bypass in Drupal core 8.9.0 through 8.9.18, 9.1.0 through 9.1.12, or 9.2.0 through 9.2.5 allows remote authenticated users to read field data. QuickEdit's field-access path fails to enforce field authorization in circumstances whose exact code-level condition Drupal has not published. Exploitation requires an installed QuickEdit module and a logged-in account; the documented consequence is disclosure without data modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
