Data modification via unchecked QuickEdit route access
Published Feb 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
CSRF in Drupal core 8.0.0 through 8.9.18, 9.1.0 through 9.1.12, and 9.2.0 through 9.2.5 allows remote attackers to alter site data. The QuickEdit module processes forged requests without properly validating route access; Drupal has not disclosed the affected routes or exact missing check. Exploitation requires QuickEdit to be installed and a victim to interact with attacker-controlled content, and resulting changes are bounded by the victim's session authority.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=8.9 <8.9.19
