Unauthorized workspace content access via permission bypass
Published May 17, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Access bypass in Drupal Core Workspaces before 8.8.10, 8.9.6, or 9.0.6 allows remote attackers to view content without permission. The Workspaces module fails to enforce access checks when switching workspaces, exposing draft content intended for restricted audiences. Exploitation requires the experimental Workspaces module to be installed; the documented impact is unauthorized content disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
