Unauthorized API requests via missing session-token validation
Published May 22, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Aviatrix Controller before 5.4.1204 allows remote attackers to submit web-interface API requests. A web-interface API call fails to verify a session token before processing a request, permitting attacker-supplied content to invoke it through a user's browser. Exploitation requires an authenticated Controller user to interact with attacker-controlled content; published sources do not identify the API action or its concrete effect.
