Group-maintainer cluster token disclosure via reveal control
Published Jun 19, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in affected GitLab CE/EE releases allows remote authenticated users to view stored Kubernetes cluster tokens. The cluster details view retains a Show control that returns the stored service token instead of treating it as a write-only secret. A group maintainer who can open the cluster page can retrieve the token, which grants only its assigned Kubernetes permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>=10.3, <12.9.8
