Continued log access via retained disabled-user session
Published May 20, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper access control in Cacti before 1.2.11 allows remote authenticated users with an existing session to continue viewing logs. The account-disable operation leaves active session authorization effective, so an auto-refreshing clog_user.php page continues returning updated system-log data. The user must authenticate and open the permitted page before an administrator disables the account; the demonstrated consequence is continued read access to updated logs.
