Unauthenticated command execution via unneutralized configuration fields
Published Jun 22, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
OS command injection in Artica Proxy Community Edition before 4.30.000000 allows remote attackers to execute commands through five web fields. The web interface fails to neutralize shell syntax in the Netbios name, Server domain name, dhclient_mac, Hostname, and Alias values before using them in operating-system commands. No authentication or user interaction is required, and injected commands can take complete control of the host operating system.
