Arbitrary file read via unsanitized popup path
Published Jun 22, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal in Artica Proxy Community Edition before 4.30.000000 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files. The fw.progrss.details.php endpoint uses the popup query parameter as a file path without properly validating traversal sequences, so encoded ../ segments escape the intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted web-interface request can disclose application data, credentials, and operating-system files readable by the service.
