CVE-2020-13135

Data disclosure via interceptable hash-protected messages

Published May 18, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Information disclosure in D-Link DSP-W215 1.26b03 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read protected data from local network traffic. The device relies on a hash to protect messages, but traffic monitoring exposes the hash and knowledge needed to recover their contents. Reachability requires a position on the device's local network; the documented consequence is disclosure only.
