Unauthenticated account creation via unchecked AJAX registration
Published May 17, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Registration bypass in Brainstorm Force Ultimate Addons for Elementor before 1.24.2 allows remote attackers to create Subscriber accounts. The registration-form AJAX action processes untrusted requests without checking whether site registration is enabled or the module is active. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the resulting low-privilege account bypasses disabled registration and can enable attacks that require a Subscriber session.
