Application crash via uninitialized MakerNote pointers

Use of uninitialized memory in libexif before 0.6.22 allows remote attackers to crash applications via crafted EXIF MakerNote data. When a MakerNote entry reports zero components, the Canon, Fuji, Olympus, and Pentax loaders leave the new entry structure uninitialized and later dereference its pointer. Exploitation requires a consuming application to parse attacker-supplied EXIF data; documented outcomes are an application crash and potential use-after-free.
