Privilege escalation in Microsoft SharePoint 2013 Service Pack 1, 2016, and 2019 allows remote authenticated users to impersonate another user. SharePoint accepts a specially crafted request because it insufficiently sanitizes user input; Microsoft has not disclosed the affected component or field. A valid SharePoint account is required, and successful exploitation grants another SharePoint user's permissions without reported host-level code execution.
