Local code execution via unvalidated PSP parameters
Published Nov 15, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Improper input validation in trusted PSP applications in AMD Radeon Software before 20.11.2 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The trusted PSP applications accept improperly validated parameters, but AMD has not disclosed the application names, parameter interface, or exact validation failure. Local low-privileged access is required, and successful exploitation bypasses security restrictions to run code in a higher-trust context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
