Arbitrary decrement in AMD Radeon Software allows local users to elevate privileges or interrupt systems running affected Windows 10 drivers. AMD identifies the defect only as an arbitrary-decrement weakness found during analysis of graphics-driver Escape calls, without naming the handler or decremented object. A low-privileged local process must reach the driver interface; successful exploitation elevates privileges or causes system-level denial of service.
