Privilege escalation via Escape handler heap overflow
Published Nov 15, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Pool/heap overflow in AMD Radeon Software before 20.11.2 allows local users to elevate privileges, disclose data, or crash Windows. The Windows graphics driver's Escape 0x110037 handler overruns a pool or heap buffer while processing a crafted escape request. A low-privileged local process must invoke the graphics escape interface; Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise before 21.Q1 is also affected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
