CVE-2020-12889Network attack vector

Cross-user data access via globally cached credentials

Published May 15, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Information disclosure in MISP MISP-maltego 1.4.4 allows remote attackers to read another user's MISP data through remote transforms. The get_misp_connection function stores the first user's PyMISP connection in a module-level global and returns it for later requests. Exposure requires remote-transform server mode and gives later users the first user's MISP API access and readable threat data.
