System crash via AppInfo symbolic-link traversal

Denial of service in affected Microsoft Windows and Windows Server releases allows local users to make a system stop responding. The AppInfo service runs as SYSTEM and follows attacker-controlled pseudo-symlinks while CreateDirectoryTree creates missing AppX directories, enabling protected-path directory creation. Exploitation requires local low-privileged execution or a user opening a crafted file from a network share; creating a cng.sys directory causes a crash on reboot that requires repair.
