Clipboard disclosure via USSD lockscreen bypass
Published May 11, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Authentication bypass in Samsung mobile devices with Q(10.0) allows remote attackers to access clipboard content via USSD. The lockscreen USSD dialog fails to enforce the locked-state protection check before exposing clipboard data. Exploitation requires a USSD request reaching the handset, and the bounded impact is disclosure of clipboard contents without documented ability to modify data or interrupt service.
