Stored script execution via insufficient input validation
Published May 7, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Katyshop2 before 2.12 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another interface user’s browser. The web-based management interface accepts insufficiently validated user-supplied input that is later executed as script; the affected fields and handlers remain undisclosed. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a victim to follow a crafted link, enabling access to sensitive browser-held information or alteration of interface content.
