Authenticated access restriction bypass via menu parameter
Published May 6, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Incorrect authorization in Dolibarr before 11.0.4 allows remote authenticated users to bypass access restrictions via a crafted menu parameter. The htdocs/core/get_menudiv.php endpoint copies the menu parameter into the menu file selection unless input is restricted to alphanumeric characters, allowing non-alphanumeric values to evade the intended .noexe protection. Authentication is required, and the bypass can expose protected functionality or enable cross-site scripting paths that rely on that protection.
