CVE-2020-12470Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator code execution via ASPX template

Published Apr 29, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

MonoX through 5.1.40.5152 allows remote authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary code by modifying an ASPX template. The template modification path accepts administrator-supplied ASPX markup and processes it as executable server-side code without restricting executable directives. Administrative authentication is required, and successful exploitation can compromise the MonoX server with arbitrary code execution and resulting confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact.
