Sensitive file disclosure via encoded directory traversal

Path traversal in the Onkyo TX-NR585 1000-0000-000-0008-0000 web interface allows remote attackers to read sensitive device files. The built-in web server applies a weak path filter that accepts URL-encoded %2e%2e%2f sequences, letting crafted requests escape the web root. Network access to an exposed receiver web service is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of /etc/shadow.
