Heap overflow in Intel BMC firmware before 2.47 allows local users with authenticated BMC access to escalate privileges. Intel has not published the affected BMC component, attacker-controlled input, or memory operation that overruns the heap buffer. Exploitation requires authenticated local BMC access; Intel does not identify the resulting privilege level or any operation available after escalation.
