Script execution via unescaped table-panel labels
Published Apr 24, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Grafana before 6.7.3 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through crafted table-panel content. The legacy table renderer places alias-expanded column text in column.title and template-expanded tooltip text in cellLinkTooltip without HTML escaping. A user must view the crafted panel; execution is confined to that viewer's browser context, with no reported service interruption.
