Stored XSS via MIME-sniffed archived attachments

Cross-site scripting in GNU Mailman 2.x before 2.1.30 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through archived attachments. The scrubber gives extensionless or unrecognized application/octet-stream attachments a .obj suffix, which can leave archive responses without a MIME type and cause browsers to interpret attacker-controlled HTML. Exploitation requires a visitor to open the archived attachment; the script then runs in the archive site's origin and can read or alter content available to that visitor.
