Denial of service via EDSParser memory corruption

Memory corruption in Rockwell Automation EDS Subsystem 28.0.1 and earlier allows attackers to cause denial of service via crafted EDS files. The EDS subsystem square-bracket matching algorithm mishandles specially crafted EDS input and can crash the EDSParser COM object. Exploitation requires the crafted file to be processed, and the documented consequence is service interruption without stated confidentiality or integrity impact.
