Cross-site scripting in AVEVA PI Web API 1.12.0.6346 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser. A user with PI Server write access can store attacker-controlled content that a PI Web API endpoint returns without safe neutralization. Exploitation requires victim interaction and permits viewing, modifying, or deleting data within the victim's permissions.
