Service interruption via writable application startup script

Improper access control in affected Baxter ExactaMix EM1200 and EM2400 releases allows local users to modify the application startup script. Non-administrative operating-system accounts retain write access to the script instead of restricting it to privileged users. The issue affects EM1200 1.1, 1.2, and 1.4 and EM2400 1.10, 1.11, and 1.13; low-privileged local access is sufficient to delete the application and interrupt service.
