Missing authentication in GE Grid Solutions Reason RT430, RT431, and RT434 firmware before 08A05 allows remote attackers to execute commands. The web application exposes shell-script endpoints that accept unsanitized POST parameters, checks some access in client-side JavaScript, and permits unauthenticated password changes and GET-triggered reboots. Network access to the device web interface is sufficient for root command execution, configuration takeover, reboot, or persistent unresponsiveness.
