Deserialization of untrusted data in Ignition Gateway before 7.9.14 and 8.0.10 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information. The Gateway's ServerMessageHeader path accepts attacker-controlled serialized data without validating it before deserialization. No authentication is required; the CNA records information exposure, while ZDI reports execution as SYSTEM, leaving the published impact assessments in conflict.
