Unauthenticated root execution via NFS HOST/IP injection
Published Feb 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in SVAKOM Siime Eye Firmware 14.1.00000001.3.330.0.0.3.14 allows remote attackers root code execution via NFS HOST/IP input. The webserver passes the NFS HOST/IP field to a shell without neutralizing Bash metacharacters, so injected commands execute as root. The vulnerable interface is network reachable without authentication; successful exploitation can read or alter device data and interrupt services.
