Heap-memory disclosure via inconsistent inner-packet length

Out-of-bounds read in IPv4/ICMPv4 handling in Treck TCP/IP before 6.0.1.66 allows remote attackers to read heap memory via crafted packets. A fragmented outer IPv4 packet carries an inner packet whose declared length is shorter than its payload; an invalid protocol number then provokes an ICMP error that copies adjacent heap bytes into the reply. Exploitation requires network reachability for IP-in-IP fragments and discloses memory without authentication or user interaction.
