Database read and modification via unneutralized SNMP parameters
Published Apr 17, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
HQL injection in OpenNMS Horizon before 25.2.1 and affected Meridian branches allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data. NodeListController passes crafted snmpParm or snmpParmValue inputs from element/nodeList.htm into addCriteriaForSnmpParm without neutralizing HQL syntax. Authenticated web access is required; affected Meridian releases are 2017 before 2017.1.21, 2018 before 2018.1.16, and 2019 before 2019.1.4.
