Published Apr 17, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in GNOME Evolution before 3.35.91 allows remote attackers to attach local files through crafted mailto links. The mailto URI handler accepts the proprietary attach parameter and adds files or directories to a composed message without a warning. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted link, after which sending the message can disclose selected local content.
