Stored script execution via unsanitized copyright text
Published Apr 16, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Rukovoditel 2.5.2 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in other users' browsers through copyright text. The configuration page stores the copyright text without neutralizing script content, then renders that shared value on every application page. An authenticated account is required to plant the payload, and another user must view a page before the script can read or alter data available to that browser session.
