Out-of-bounds write in OpenEXR before 2.4.1 allows context-dependent attackers to crash an application via a crafted image. In ImfMisc.cpp, bytesPerLineTable uses signed integer arithmetic for attacker-controlled scanline dimensions, allowing an overflow to undersize buffers before copyIntoFrameBuffer writes image pixels beyond the heap allocation. Exploitation requires an application to open the crafted EXR file, and the documented consequence is a process crash.
