Remote code execution via unvalidated database data
Published May 21, 2020 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Memory corruption in the Windows Jet Database Engine allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted file. The engine fails to validate user-supplied database data before handling objects in memory, producing a memory-corruption condition. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, and code runs in the current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
