Authenticated script execution via settings-tab XSS
Published Apr 13, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Media Library Assistant before 2.82 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through its settings tabs. The affected settings tabs place attacker-controlled input into generated pages without adequate neutralization; public sources do not identify specific fields or functions. Exploitation requires an authenticated account and a victim to load the affected settings content, enabling actions or data access in that browser session.
