Root code execution via reused administrator password

Hard-coded credential reuse in NETGEAR Orbi Pro firmware 2.5.1.106 allows remote attackers to execute code with root privileges. The embedded Linux root account reuses the Web-admin password instead of maintaining an independently protected credential. Attackers must reach the device from an adjacent network and first exploit CVE-2020-11551 to change that shared password, after which root access grants full device control.
