Stored XSS in Firmware Analysis and Comparison Tool 3 allows attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a crafted localhost web request. The upload-analysis/[uid] handler calls _get_meta_from_request() in helperFunctions/mongo_task_conversion.py and stores unescaped tags and version values that execute when rendered. Exploitation requires a victim to load a page containing the stored values; reported impact is browser-side script execution with confidentiality and integrity effects and no availability effect.
