Ticket disclosure and modification via missing authorization
Published Apr 1, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper privilege management in Deskpro before 2019.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify helpdesk tickets. The /api/tickets endpoint returns filtered ticket records without verifying that the requesting account is authorized to access them. A low-privileged account can retrieve sensitive ticket contents and authentication codes, and those codes permit unauthorized ticket changes.
