CVE-2020-11458Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Configuration secret disclosure via unrestricted local feeds

Published Apr 2, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Information disclosure in MISP before 2.4.124 allows remote authenticated users with administrator rights to expose configuration secrets. The local-feed path in app/Model/Feed.php passes an administrator-supplied filesystem path to file_get_contents and parses the file as feed data without restricting it to approved locations. An account able to create feeds can retrieve only strings matching feed patterns, including database passwords and GPG key passphrases, rather than complete file contents.
